The St. Stephen’s Seniors Outreach Program began in 1994. Its purpose is to bring the seniors of the parish together in a social setting. The group meets every two weeks on the second and fourth Friday of the month from September to June at one o’clock in the afternoon in the church hall Among us there is a friendly group of game players who enjoy matching wits and skills in games of Bridge, Cribbage, and Scrabble. Some folks come to a meeting just to visit and stay in touch with fellow parishioners while enjoying a cup of tea and a cookie. Once a year the group goes on a day's outing to a location somehwere between Hope and Pemberton. We also help out by providing transportation to Mass and the occasional diocesan event for parishioners who might otherwise not be able to attend. There is no age requirement for joining our group.
